Focus on FHA Minimum Property Requirements
HUD’s Single Family Housing Policy Handbook, also known as Handbook 4000.1 was released several years ago, yet many appraisers still struggle with minimum property requirements (MPR) for existing houses. As the title suggests, this 4-hour course focuses on minimum property requirements, specifically why these requirements exist and what the requirements are for location, site, and improvements. The course materials include many photographs and examples of actual property deficiencies encountered by appraisers. For current FHA roster appraisers, this course will provide a refresher of the requirements, along with examples of how they apply in real-life appraisal situations. The course was designed and written by Daniel A. Bradley, SRA, CDEI.
Requires a minimum purchase of either a Trade Show pass or General Session pass.
