We’ve experienced a real estate boom for the past few years. When will it end? What is on the horizon? As demand exceeds supply, how does one derive an estimate of market value that is sustainable? How should appraisers treat the gap between price vs. value? In order for appraisals to remain relevant in modern housing finance system it must morph to be more collateral risk focused. We will explore how the appraisal report of the future should look like.
